ISO is your sensor's volume knob. Turn it up and the camera brightens the signal — and the noise with it. That noise = coloured, gritty speckle.
Grain hides where photographers look first: shadows, smooth skies, plain walls. Sharp detail disguises it.
Each case: the same photo twice. Tap the high-ISO one (A or B, or ←/→ keys) before the timer dies. Early cases are obvious — then the gap narrows and we zoom to 100%…
