Axis of Action · Exposure · Shutter speed
Every photo has one perfect instant. Dial in a shutter fast enough to freeze the action, then capture at exactly the right moment. Too slow and it smears. Too late and it's gone.

Briefing
The shutter is a curtain that opens for a split second to let light hit the sensor. Shutter speed is how long it stays open — like 1/500 of a second.
If the shutter is open too long, anything moving smears into a blur. A short, fast shutter (a big number like 1/1000) catches a tiny slice of time and freezes the motion sharp.
Each round: drag the dial and watch the subject go from blurry to sharp — fast movers need a faster shutter. Lock it in, then hit SPACE at the peak of the action.
