Your narrative statement is a short, basic outline of the narrative elements within the media product. It includes Plot, Characters and Point of View.

Plot

The plot should be the basic sequence of events that propels the story further. Don't go into too much detail, just explain the basic story beats of the narrative.

Characters

Every narrative has to have at least one character - however they do not need to be human. Traditionally, the protagonist will somehow change from the beginning to the end of the narrative. Explain your main character/s, what their main motivation is and their character transformation.

Point of View

This can have a huge impact in how the audience understands the narrative. The Point of View could be first-person where they understand how the character sees the world or third-person which can share any thoughts of any characters in the story.
